Color of the Season: Yolk Yellow

Coming out of the winter months can be difficult, especially if you are the type of person who thrives in the sunlight. That is why it is so important to embrace those warmer colors – and that is why it is also great that the color of the season now is a nice, warm yolk yellow.

The color has been everywhere over the last few years and it has been shown in many, many different styles all over the runways. Let’s take a look at some of our very favorite ways to wear it:

Brighten Up Your Shoes

Everyone knows that white sneakers are extremely popular right now, but why should you fit into the trend? Instead of wearing all white sneakers, go a few shades darker and wear some yolk yellow sneakers. There is nothing better than doing something that is just a twist on style and makes you stand apart without making you scream.

Even better, you won’t have to worry about these as much as you would white shoes.

Sunglasses

Seeing the world through a yellow yolky screen can be extremely great – not only to make everything feel just a little softer, but it will also protect your eyes. Invest in a pair of yolk yellow sunglasses that won’t be as harsh as the traditional black sunglasses that we all know and love.

Just make sure that you absolutely get a great pair because you still want to ensure that the UV light doesn’t get through.

Top It Off

If you are the type of person who likes to complete looks or go monochrome, you know that you can level almost any look up by adding a hat. With the yolk yellow trend, there are so many hats to choose from – though some are better than others.

One thing that you do want to ensure is that your hat doesn’t blend into your hair. For those of you with blonde hair, you will want to be extremely careful about that because it can look a little strange, especially at a distance.

Skirts

When trying a new trend, one of the best things that you can do is start with a skirt. Why? Skirts come in so many different styles that are comfortable for most fashionable people. Want something short? Something long? Something poofy? Something that will fit tight to your body? There are so many options out there. Start with something that is a known silhouette and that you are comfortable wearing and then branch out from there.

How will you add yolk yellow to your wardrobe?
