Perfect dresses to transition from Winter to Spring

The sun has been out a little more recently, well at least here it has, and that can only mean one thing, spring is on its way. This time of year is notoriously tough, winter has been long and cold and we are all waiting for the first signs of spring, but the weather could still change at any moment launching us straight back in the coldness of winter. Today we are going to look at some great dresses you can wear this winter but will also help you transition into the spring like weather we all hope comes our way very soon.

Fit and Flare Dress:

Never disregard the amazing qualities of the fit and flare dress. As well as being completely flattering on most body shapes you will also find this style one of the easier styles to wear when transitioning from winter to spring.  You can pair this dress with a pair of leggings and/or tights to keep you warm in the colder weather. On your feet you can pair this type of dress with a pair of ankle boots or if you are going barelegged then you might also want to consider a pair of heels, depending on the type of event you are attending.

Shift Dress:

A shift dress is another great option to see you through the awkward transitional phase between winter and spring. To keep you warm on those colder days pair this dress with a pair of tights, ankle boots and a warm blazer on top.

Sheath or Midi Dress:

Ever so fashionable at the moment a sheath dress or midi dress is the perfect choice for a winter to spring event. These dresses look fantastic if you have any formal events to attend. Pair these dresses with a pair of heels and a formal blazer on top to keep you warm in the cold.

Cocktail Dress:

If you have a fancier event to go to throughout this colder season but do not know if the weather might have perked up by the time your event comes round then you might want to pick a great transition cocktail dress. You can pair your cocktail dress with a pair of heels or smart flat shoes and either a cardigan or blazer to keep you warm. You could also add a pashmina to your outfit to cover your arms while you are inside.
