Handbag Essentials that you shouldn’t live without

When it comes to being a woman we all know there is a number of things we cannot live without, and our handbags and everything we keep in them comes out high on that list. Women’s handbags are a myriad of belongings; which we will tell you are all essential. So today I am going to tell you what your handbag essentials should be and why you should not go out without them. An important thing to note, if you are a fan of carrying around a lot (I know I am!) is to select a sturdy handbag and not to overload it too much as it could cause you pain in your neck and shoulders. That being said, let’s move onto the essentials.

Umbrella

Maybe you live in a great weather location where this would not be considered an essential, but for most of us we need to make sure we have an umbrella in our bags at any given time whether it is summer, winter or everything in between. You never know when the weather might turn and you will be thankful for this little gem to be in your bag. You can get various sized umbrellas and a small one will fit perfectly in your bag so you will be prepared come rain or shine.

Purse

One of the biggest essentials is a cute purse, and you can get various sizes and styles to hold all your coins, notes and credit cards. If you have a big bag then a big purse will work fantastically as it will also be easier to find within your bag.

Gloves

When winter sets in, and let’s face it for most of us we are definitely heading that way, we can feel cold at a moment’s notice, especially on our hands. Pop a small pair of gloves in your bag, they do not take up much space, then if you ever feel a little cold you will be able to quickly reach in your bag. If you have enough space you might want to throw in a woolly hat and a scarf too, this will help to keep you nice and warm on those approaching cold winter days.

Gum

Might not be an item but in my opinion every bag should have some candy, either a few hard boiled sweets, mints or some gum to keep you going when you get a little hungry. If you can fit it in, a small bottle of water will not go amiss either.
