Little One’s Fashion: Styling your newborn baby

Congratulations, or soon to be congratulations, you are a Mommy. The internet is filled with fashion articles aimed at Mommies-to-be, new Mommies and very little about newborns, and while of course they should not be worrying about being trendy, and neither should Mom, but we know so many Mom’s out there love to dress their babies in fashionable and trendy styles, so we have put together a little article on best clothes for your newborn baby to keep them cool, comfortable and looking gorgeous all the time.

Make sure you have a lot of onesies…

Newborns need a lot of diaper changes so anything that is easy to change is the most practical for babies as they need a lot of clothes changes. You are going to want to pick an outfit to keep them warm and snuggly too. Select bodysuits with poppers to go under almost anything as this helps to keep baby warm, keep their diaper in place and also allows you to choose an outfit to go over the top, meaning you have the opportunity to dress your baby exactly how you wish.

Dresses…

If you have yourself a little baby girl there are a number of gorgeous styles of dresses you can dress your new little one in. Dresses make it easy to change your baby but you also might want to keep them in a onesie underneath their dress to keep them nice and warm. Also, in colder months pair with tights and a little cardigan to keep them toasty and warm.

Dungarees…

Whether you have yourself a little boy or girl you will find baby dungarees are a great outfit choice for your little one. Baby dungarees almost always come with poppers around the bottom half of the outfit, therefore making diaper changes easy. Dungarees are also super stylish and you can pair them with a cute little t-shirt for your little one.

Leggings are a lifesaver…

Ok, leggings might not be the easiest of items to get on those wriggling baby legs but they look great on babies and go with pretty much everything and they are totally gender neutral. Add a pair of leggings with t-shirts or jumpers for both boys and girls, or even put them under a dress for a girl. They can we worn over the top of a onesie too.

Bedtime…

Bedtime is all about the sleeping bag, it keeps your baby safe and warm and means you do not have to worry about blankets. Pop your little one in their pyjamas and then into this bag, this will keep them safe and warm all night long.
