How To Add Hygge To Your Wardrobe

Hygge is the principle of adding more comfort and coziness to your life. Often, we think of home goods when we think of Hygge, but that doesn’t have to be the case. Instead, you can add Hygge to your wardrobe, which is more effective because they goes with us wherever we go.

Want to add Hygge? Here are some things to consider adding:

A Cardigan

One of the easiest ways to add Hygge to your wardrobe is simply to add a cardigan to it. This will help you to feel comfortable and still use all of your other clothing.

Cardigans are extremely easy to add to any outfit, take with you on trips, and even keep in the office. There are so many different styles, so find the ones that work best for your life.

Add Slippers

If you really want to feel comfortable, simply taking off your shoes when you are in your home can help. If you want to take it further, consider buying a luxury pair of slippers.

Slippers are a great investment because they won’t really go bad or wear out if you are just wearing them in your home. Now, if you use them to run to the corner store or to take your dog out, they may run out a little more quickly.

Add A Sweater Dress

One of the places more of us needs more Hygge is in the office. We want to feel calm and ready to take on anything. If you have a big day or something stressful coming up, you may want to consider adding a structured but comfortable sweater dress to your wardrobe.

Make sure to take care of sweater dresses, as they can get quite worn out if you allow them to pill.

Hoodies

Another great way to add hygge to your wardrobe is to just wear hoodies. There are so many fashionable and appropriate options for hoodies in today’s world. You have to be careful – that stained and stretched hoodie from college probably won’t fit the bill, but a structured and well-made one will.

The rules at your office may vary depending on dress code, so you may want to check before you add this one to your office rotation. However, for day to day wear, it is still perfect.

Hygge is something we all need a little bit more of in today’s world – so go ahead and add some of these pieces to your wardrobe.
