Wedding dresses under $1000

Not all brides dream of a Vera Wang gown or can afford the hefty price tag of their luxe collection starting at $6,900, and for many brides, with the average cost of a wedding rising rapidly to around $25,000, many brides are looking for generic stores to purchase their bridal gowns. There are some absolutely beautiful, well made bridal gowns in stores and it makes sense for the more budget savvy bride to pick one up there. Instead of spending thousands of dollars instead you can get a high quality gown at a fraction of the price. Just like at a bridal store there are many different colors and styles, to suit each individual bride. It does not matter what kind of wedding you are having, there is a budget down just for you and you will not be disappointed.

If you are getting married in a church or a traditional ceremony then you might be looking for a more traditional looking gown but that does not mean you need to spend a fortune on your dress if you do not want to. There are a number of traditional looking gowns at a fraction of the price. A gown with lace sleeves is great if your arms are not something you want to show off. Not all gowns are created equal and instead of a long, floor length gown you might prefer a shorter wedding dress instead. You might want an unfussy strapless gown or a strapless sweetheart neckline and the timelessness of a lace gown makes it a favorite with many brides.

If you are having a destination wedding or getting married on the beach then you might decide to choose something lighter. You will need to travel with your dress so it does need to be easy to transport and if your destination is warm a lighter dress will definitely be beneficial. A light, patterned dress will look beautiful in the sunshine and will not be a bother while walking on the sand. If you are looking for something completely plain for your destination wedding a high neck plain gown might suit you better.

If you are getting married outdoors you probably will not want something with a long train. A simple, light gown will look elegant in the outdoors. A sweetheart neckline gown with embellishments on the bodice will glisten in the natural light.

If you are having a small, intimate ceremony and do not want a fussy dress there are many options available. If you are looking for a longer gown something figure fitting with a slight pattern in the fabric will look elegant without looking too over the top. For a shorter bridal dress you can still have all the elegance without having the length.
