Finding Your Statement Pieces

What is your statement piece? For many of us that are trying to be fashionable and live out our lives by making an impression with what we wear, statement pieces are the key to doing it all. These are the pieces that people look at as soon as you walk into the room – they know to look at your feet or your ears or at your bag. Then, they can take in the rest of your outfit.

Everyone needs to find the clothing items that allow them to shine and make statements and then run with it.

Statement Shoes

Statement shoes don’t have to be too “different” they just can’t be boring. You want to get a pair of heels that have a unique pattern on the sole or something that is just a little different from the normal. Shoes are the easiest place to make a statement because they will never get too small and you don’t have to worry about investing too much in them – shoes don’t have to break the budget.

Fur

Fur (faux is the best) can be your statement if you are careful with it. You can choose a brightly colored faux fur jacket or something that looks real (but isn’t). Remember that fur is extremely controversial, so you have to be careful when and where you wear it. Still, it is worth it to invest in some good faux fur so that you can make a statement.

Earrings

If you have a great hair cut, there is nothing better than a pair of statement earrings. These are the earrings that are big and bold or just say something new and exciting. There are tons of designers who make this type of earrings, from huge pieces in costume jewelry to smaller pieces that are real and precious, what you want to invest in is up to you.

Statement Necklace

If you are lost with where to start, you can always go back to the basics: statement necklaces. These are the necklaces that are big and can change even the most basic outfit into something that is fabulous. Even better, you can get costume jewelry or antique jewelry that will really stand out.
